Modher Majeed

Modher Majeed is Head of Legal at Elysium Partner & Co., where he leads the firm’s legal practice across corporate, regulatory, and commercial matters in Iraq.
Based in Baghdad, he brings a strong practical understanding of the Iraqi legal framework and procedural environment, particularly in matters involving corporate structuring, regulatory coordination, and business-related legal support.
His experience includes company registration for both local and international entities, taxation authority matters, bank registration procedures, corporate share sale and purchase transactions, litigation support, and legal advisory work connected to business operations in Iraq.
He has also advised banks and international companies and has supported matters involving sectors such as oil, construction, and quality control.
His prior professional background includes legal practice within Al Tamimi & Company, further strengthening his exposure to complex matters involving both domestic and international business activity in the Iraqi market.
Modher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, a Master’s Degree in Public Law, and a B.H Degree in International Law, and has been a member of the Iraqi Bar Association since 1999. A native Arabic speaker with direct familiarity with the Iraqi legal and business environment, he contributes to the firm’s ability to deliver legal support that is technically informed, procedurally aware, and commercially grounded.
